Phreee

All I need is either on my back or in this old army duffel bag.
I go where I want to go any time. I’m phreee.
Sometimes the food I get and where I sleep depends on other people’s charity.
If the weather decides to rain, sometimes I feel the drops on me.
When It starts to snow, there are places I go I know I can stay warm.
I have old boots for shoes, and my feet tell me how the day will end.
Peace is my friend, and being phreee is part of my soul.
