If You Think You Are Country

If you thiink you are country,
well how do you really know?
You can listen to the different
styles of songs on the radio.
And you can sing the words
when you are alone at home.
If you thiink you are country,
well how do you really know?
It’s like a religious experience.
You have to feel it in your soul.

If you thiink you are country,
well how do you really know?
You can dance the two step,
or you can just move real slow.
You can wear jeans and such,
but that can be just for show.
If you thiink you are country,
well how do you really know?
It’s like a religious experience.
You have to feel it in your soul.

If you thiink you are country,
well how do you really know?
Name the hits of Hank Williams
and George Jones in a row.
Sometime in your life the Grand
Ole Opry is the place to go.
If you thiink you are country,
well how do you really know?
It’s like a religious experience.
You have to feel it in your soul.
